The First Week at MyGlobalVoice

It's been an exciting week at MyGlobalVoice.

We connected with several prominent individuals and organizations this week in Nashville.  On Wednesday we visited the Nashville Peace Coalition, a local group that meets Wednesday nights at the Friends Meeting House on 26th Avenue. The NPC has shown interest in helping MyGlobalVoice a booth at Nashville's annual PeaceFest on June 26th in Centennial Park. Among other issues, the booth will focus on spreading awareness about CEDAW, the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women. Please join us at PeaceFest June 26th!

We also met with the highly accomplished peace activist Karl Meyer at his north Nashville home, which is also the site of the urban gardening project Nashville Grasslands. Karl is a long time associate of the Nashville Peace and Justice Center, a community based coalition of organizations and individuals working together to create a more peaceful and just society. We hope to be working with them soon on spreading awareness about CEDAW and Nuclear Disarmament in the Nashville community!
