The First Week at MyGlobalVoice

It's been an exciting week for MyGlobalVoice!

This week MyGlobalVoice connected with many prominent community activists in Nashville.  On Wednesday, we visited the Nashville Peace Coalition, where we discussed setting up information booths at Nashville's PeaceFest on June 26th. Among other issues, we will be spreading awareness about CEDAW, the Convention on the Elimination of of all forms of Discrimination Against Women. Please come out and join us at PeaceFest in Centennial Park!

We also met with Karl Meyer, an extremely accomplished peace activist who created Nashville Greenlands, a successful urban gardening project in north Nashville. Karl has been a long time associate of the Nashville Peace and Justice Center, a community based coalition of organizations and individuals working together to create a more peaceful and just society. MyGlobalVoice is looking forward to working with the NPJC in the near future!
