About Us:
What We Are
My Global Voice recognizes that we all live in an undeniably interconnected world.
We read Twitter updates from protesters on the streets of Tehran, receive news clips about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan on our cell phones, and cringe at images of ice melting under the endangered polar bear. We know that events thousands of miles away profoundly impact our security, our jobs, our health and our way of life here at home. And we know the actions we take here, from our financial regulations to our individual energy consumption, seriously affect the rest of the world.
That’s why My Global Voice came together in Tennessee and Georgia to empower individuals and communities in these states to fight for U.S. global policy that reflects the values we hold dear: that we are all citizens for the world and that the United States should be a global leader in international cooperation, human rights, climate change, genocide prevention, debt forgiveness, disarmament, etc…
We are organizations that believe that many times the votes of the Senators of Georgia and Tennessee don’t accurately reflect the values we believe in and it’s up to us to elevate the momentum and importance place on these issues to change their mind.
Who We Are

What We Do
My Global Voice is a platform for citizens from Georgia and Tennessee to come together across a broad range of global policy issues and work together to talk about ways to engage the United States with the world. By uniting along the values that unite us, we will amplify our voices for a global policy that reflects our values. We may all be passionate about different specific issues, whether that’s nuclear disarmament, climate change, genocide prevention or strengthening the United Nations, but we all share a common set of ideas about what our role in the world should be and what we need to go to get there.
By having educational events on a range of issues, connecting global activists across the state, reaching out to local community groups, using local press outlets, and building relationships with elected officials we will work to amplify the voices of the people of Georgia and Tennessee.
Our Field Organizers on the ground in your communities will help connect you with other activists in your area, can be a resource to you for information on issues, organize information session, lobby visits, campaigns, etc…
